Today I experienced a spectacular display in the skies. A total eclipse of the sun which produced 4 minutes of darkness at midday. It was amazing, I couldn’t help but be in awe of God and His creation!
It reminded me of another day…
a day written in the Bible. “At midday darkness fell over the all the land.”
But instead of the darkness lasting only 4 minutes, the darkness lasted 3 HOURS.
That day of darkness happened over 2,000 years ago.
It was written in the Bible about the day Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world. And more personal to me, that He died on the cross for my sins.
